If you’ve made it to this site, chances are you’ve been tagged by LOVE ALWAYS, PORTLAND! and now hold in your hands part of our “Valentine Project”!
LOVE ALWAYS, PORTLAND! - a collaborative group of individuals (now including YOU) – is back at it again for a third year, attempting to make people smile with little acts of love, laughter, and kindness! An attempt to encourage everyone to find inspiration in the little things that make life worth living! Day in, and day out, Valentines Day aside, get out there and follow the thumpa, thumpa, thumpa of your heart – wherever it may lead!
THE HISTORY OF THE VALENTINE PROJECT: The thing is, we feel that Valentines Day should not just consist of ONE day geared only toward couples! It should take place EVERYDAY and be focused on EVERYONE that surrounds us! That’s why LOVE ALWAYS, PORTLAND! has created an ongoing project where each person who has been tagged with a valentine, is encouraged to share their comments about the Valentine they received, and encouraged to pass on their own acts of love, laughter, and kindness.
OUR HOPE: That you’ll pass the love notes you have received onto someone else, or perhaps put together one or more of your own love notes in any shape or form and pass them on. But, make sure to put the blog site on the note – lovealwaysportland.wordpress.com
Or perhaps you’ll take it a step further and start your own project (YEAH!) – spreading small acts of kindness and love, in places where it might least be expected, in places where it might be needed most. Then, hopefully that person will choose to do the same, and so on, and so on! A ripple with no logical end…

WHAT’s NEXT? Well, feel free to pass your love note on to someone else OR, put together one or more love notes in any shape or form and pass them on. Then, hopefully that person will choose to do the same, and so on, and so on! And remember, it’s not just for Valentine’s Day.
